DVD Audio was first developed by a group of leading audio/video manufacturers, and SACD by Sony and Philips. In addition to multichannel audio (up to 6 channels), the discs can also feature high-resolution stereo audio tracks, text (such as liner notes or discographies), menus, and limited still video information. All current Rotel processors and A/V receivers are compatible with both SACD and DVD-Audio connections via our 6 channel Multi-Input.
