Fitting a cartridge can be a difficult task that requires patience, but it's important that turntable users know how to do it.
The first step is to connect the cartridge to the tonearm both physically and electronically. Use the cartridge bolts provided to connect it to the tonearm wand.Then connect the four small leads to the corresponding pins on the cartridge.
Aligning the cartridge is the next step. You can download a generic protractor or use the one included with your Pro-Ject turntable. Make sure that the cantilever and stylus tip are in line with the grid on the protractor. This might take a few tries, but the closer you get to aligning the two, the less tracking errors you will experience.
