Streaming services like Netflix were included on OPPO BDP series blu-ray players, so you could enjoy a host of sources through your OPPO players. Unfortunately, due to the ageing Netflix app installed on OPPO players and the closure of OPPO Digital, the Netflix app installed is no longer supported by Netflix, and cannot be used to stream content any more.
At this stage, there are no plans for the software update that would be required to change this, nor will there be updates to support 4K or other newer Netflix features.
If Netflix service is important to you, we recommend upgrading to the Panasonic DP-UB9000, which supports 4K streaming from Netflix and a number of other services.
